Personal Note


In every educational context I have been in, from classroom teaching, to school timetabling, middle leadership roles, governors meetings, staff training and my role as Head of a School, I have yet to find anything like optimum communications.


Indeed what I have often witnessed is usually a low level (sometimes high level) communication dysfunctions impacting on outcomes in the - take your pick   - classroom, meeting, training session, etc.

The frustration is that much of the angst can be avoided and many of the outcomes significantly improved with just a basic understanding of why human beings often find it difficulty to communication, particularly in a well-defined community such as a school or classroom, and how easy it is to massively impact positively on that, with a little knowledge, a little practice and a little discipline.


And that is what I am all about!  My passion is to genuinely to show you how to achieve better communication at  cultural level and reap the rewards.  It isn't snake oil, it isn't a silver bullet, but is really quite straight forward to transform the effectiveness of communication in any organisation.  I work with individuals, businesses, teams and yet my roots and passion are in education.
